I thought I might be able to save them but they are too damaged.....I have not even tested them. Look for the parts on ebay soon.....sorry!

I thought about doing that (trace them out) but what is original about a totally new cabinet. It just sucks when games like these get trashed in water. No I did not do it...bought them this way. Oh, please do not ban me for parting them....:)

I can appreciate a lot of odd games, but I've never understood WTF the interest was in these games. I find them creepy.

if theyre gone theyre gone man. gut em and offer the cabs free. then when nobody picks them up smash em. All of a sudden youll get yelled at for smashing heh..

It's original enough if the old cab can't be saved and better than scattering the pieces to the wind, and Moppet cabs are pretty hard to come by anyway. I know it's easy for me to say but personally I'd take a crack at reproducing at least one of them, salvage anything that can be, get one as perfect as possible and sell the remain parts. Pr0k did exactly that with a totalled Sundance cab and it came out quite impressive, I'd try to look up that thread if you need some inspiration as to what's possible.

Do what you feel you need to, either way I'm not being critical, at least you're not pitching them off the roof! :D

Yeah I think as games everything Moppet sucks, but they're cute as cabs and are fairly collectable.

I've never seen or played these Moppet Video games in person and just read up on them. Were the games even good? I know they were meant for little kids so I'm guessing there wasn't much to them?

By the way, before you part those out, you should take a decent picture of one of them as well as the marquee and CP for the KLOV database.

They're very simple, slow paced and rather boring, the fact that they were "non-violent" games and came in kid-sized cabs were their big selling point, or at least that's how they were marketed. I've heard Chuck E Cheese was one of the big buyers of them and used to destroy them for tax purposes when they were done, which is one of the main reasons why there's not many around.

Great idea about taking some pics for KLOV, try to submit a picture of the boardset too if you can.

Put the cabs in the street. Then peel off the backing and throw NOS sideart for them off a building onto the side of each cab. :)

Lookout everyone, Noice is bustin out the charge card! 2 more Moppets saved from the sledge! ;)

No need for a charge card (They aren't mint condition). Should sell some tokens this week, plus it is pay week and should be getting some overtime with bad weather coming and the super bowl with everyone calling in.

Even if I do buy them it doesn't mean that one or both will not get the sledge hammer. Not saying they will or will not.
