Last night at my arcade, with an audience of about 20, Hank Chien scored 1,005,800 on arcade Donkey Kong. His game ended at 21-5 a few boards shy of the killscreen.

Donald Hayes also reached the killscreen on Digdug with a new WR score of 4,860,000.

Thanks to Anthony @ QA for making it out.

I bet that was an awesome night of gaming! Are you a registered ref yet to be able to submit those scores? If not, they should hand you a cert for it right away! You're putting together quite a destination for champion gamers!

Wow! - ary you going (they) submit the scores?
if yes, Donald climbs from 2nd to 1st place!, and Hank Chien get´s a 3rd place! congrats!

-EDIT-
Rules DK: All submissions for scores exceeding 1,000,000 points must be video recorded (no live feeds), and they must also be witnessed by Walter Day or a Senior Referee.

Since board certification is not yet widely available, players scoring under 1,000,000 points are not required to have their boards checked for their ROMsets. However, players exceeding 1 million points must have their boards certified by Twin Galaxies. This requirement is necessary to prove that gameplay employing advanced "point-pressing" has been achieved on regulation boards.

Hank is going to submit the million point game and see if we can get that bonehead rule overturned. Donald has an even higher Digdug score recorded that I believe will be at some point submitted to TG.

There was a lot of talk of partnering up with TG at one time. As time went on it became clear that Twin Galaxies' future focus will be less on the classics and more on modern consoles.

That really sucks! With some of the really sharp guys like yourself running some first class operations, it's a shame they won't encourage partnerships. I honestly think the modern console demographic has enough attention span to make keeping a recordbook interesting. Also, all the online services like xbox live already do this.

Richie Knucklez is the Jesus Christ of the arcade world. Awesome stuff all around. I would love to attend one of his fine gaming gaylas sometime.

What an ass-kisser.

But, yeah, Richie is cool and so is his arcade. Can't wait for the next tournament!!!!!

Dude, seriously. The 'Jesus Christ'? I think even Mr Knucklez would cringe at that. Those are big sandals to fill.

Richie's place is the shiz though. I'll get out there someday.

Richie Knucklez is the arcade world's Thunderlips, the ultimate male. When Richie takes a shit, throngs of Japanese gentleman pay thousands to have their picture taken with it. Sav even stated that Richie is one of the few men he would kiss on the mouth. The man is a legend, plain and simple. Don't hate because you can't measure up, brotha.

To all my love slaves out there: Richie Knucklez is here. In the flesh, baby! The ultimate male versus... the ultimate meatball...

I was told the same thing,(focusing on modern consoles) because there's no money in the classics anymore. Funny thing is, its not like there is hundreds of classic arcade game scores rolling in to Twin Galaxies every day like there is with the modern console games. TG was supposed to add on a sub-section off of the main page just for the classics, since it seems us dinosaurs haven't died out yet. But I haven't seen anything. They will always accept scores for the classics, it might not make the front page, though....

Seriously, who lines up to take pictures with someone's shit?
