Is there any documentation for the switcher pictured below? I purchased mine from eBay and the games aren't switching by the remote control. I'm wondering how to wire it to a pushbutton to perform the same action. Is there a manual available or does anybody know how to properly wire it for a pushbutton?

Figured out the problem. The receiver needs 12V and all the headers on the switcher only output 5V. I directly connected the receiver to the 12V line on my power supply and it's working now. Figured I'd update this with my resolution.

Glad somebody figured it out.....

Do you have any pics that you could post about this?

I bought 3 of these gizmos months ago and now I'm finally getting to trying to make one work. The ones that I got each had the black/red wire connector which is what I'm assuming you hooked the 12v up to. I'm a rookie at this stuff so trying to figure this one out.

I have an older non-switching power supply that is in the machine that I need to connect the 12v wires to. I'm hoping to get some feedback before I go any further - any help is much appreciated.

The other thing I noticed is my pack of (3) 2in1 jamma switchers came with (3) sets of black/red connectors but they only gave me (1) of the black box/phone jack thingies and (1) remote. I read somewhere in these forums that there is only 1 frequency they are set to on the remotes and if you have several cabinets with this setup it will change them all at the same time with one remote - this would obviously not be good!

I wonder if there is a way to hard wire this and avoid the goofy looking remote button?

????

Thanks,

My power wires are yellow and black. I did not determine how to manually change the game once the remote worked after applying the 12V. Below is a pic of the receiver out of it's box. Notice the relay is marked for 14V? You may want to open yours to make sure it's the same. I'd hate to give you incorrect information and you end up frying something.

I bought mine off eBay months and months ago. The eBay user I bought it from is no longer registered. If your source is still available, you may want to ask if they have any documentation available.
