2 games in truck

Hi,

Ive been moving games , and buying games 2 at a time. I usually fit 1 standing and 1 laying down. I see you guys can stand both of them up. How do you guys do it? I have a hard time with the 2nd game. I have a reg Ford ranger.

Here is an example of two games in a Ford Ranger.. The games are a Frogger and a Qbert that were both converted to Trivia Whiz.. oh the horror!

As others have said--having two people with you definitely helps if you want to stand both games up. Standing the second one up while sliding it up is key. I usually only transport one game at a time (lying down).

I've gotten 6 games in the back of a fullsize Dodge Ram pickup. Two were cocktails though

How much is one of those gate lifts?

Depends if you buy used or new. If you buy used, be very careful that you know which model of truck its compatible with. I bought a used lift gate prior to the one on my truck and found out it would fit a full size vehicle but was designed for a van, not a pickup. Plus, the electrical was all f'd up. Turns out it would cost more to try and adapt it to my old f-150 than just buy a new one. I ended up scrapping the lift.

The gate on my dodge ram was purchased new along with the rack system, steel plate, and rhino lining. I think the gate was around $1000-$1500, plus installation. The whole setup was around $5k...and it's totally worth it. Of course, i don't drive the truck around as much now cuz it would cost me as much just to drive it down the street...f'n gas prices in CA suck!

You could also remove the monitor from one of the games to make the cabinet lighter and easier to move. Put the monitor on the passenger side seat face down and tilt the seat back a little and it should be safe as you're driving.
