2 games in STL

I've got the Moon Fighter in the same style cab except it has wood-grained sides and Star Wars bootleg artwork around the monitor. The board is a bootleg Galaga-ish game. I think it's part Galaga and part Moon Cresta in play, but I can't remember for sure. It's been a long time since it worked and I never really paid too much attention to it.

If the cab is built like mine then it's very solid. It's also not full-sized. It's a foot or more shorter than many of my other cabs.

Here's some close-up pics. -JM

They look like the regular ATW cabinets minus the bottom coin box. If I am not mistaken the boards for mars at least would accept a few other games by swapping out a little cart or box.

Sound right. I've got a Red UFO and Cruncher in the same style cabs and a couple of other boards. They are the same motherboard, but have a different rom card/board on each of the different games.

Anyone know who got them? Been looking for a nice Mars for years..... Every time I come across one, seller wants $500, or it's trashed.

It was me...I just got back from picking them up. Nothing to be too excited about - both monitors are busted (physically), the cabs have some water damage on the bottom. But otherwise they're pretty nice. Never seen or heard of either of them.

Hey you're the guy with the video game museum, no? Are you going to put them in the museum by any chance? Awesome pickup, IMHO. Mars was an obscure favorite of mine back in the day...would love a crack at playing it again someday when I come to visit. So what was with the monitors? Necks cracked/broken?

The Moon Fighter blew my mind because it looked like it was in another Mars cabinet, however after some research, it's made by another company. I have absolutely no idea how that game got into that cabinet. Is there any company name on the marquee?

Would *love* to see some hi-res pics of these...

Never heard of Pac-Man, what?

I think you're confusing this deal with the two free games deal. That one was pac man and toobin, this one was mars and moon battle or something like that. Both came up on the same day in the same city.

I didn't get the free ones, but I did get these. I'd rather have had the free ones, really.
