2 gameroom parties back to back, plus my new gameroom toy.

Whew, hosted not one, but TWO parties at the house today. After cleaning all day long, then hosting I am beat. Had a TON of fun though. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever had every gameroom game fully functional ( It took an emergency run to Rat Shack to get the Lethal Weapon Pinball safely operational). Also check out my new gameroom toy - it's an 80's woodgrain 13" TV that plays nothing but old 80's toy commercials, 80's TV show promos, and 80's music videos. Been wanting to do that project for a long time and finally made it happen.

3rd pic is my wife posing with HER paperboy. I had one great game where I made it to Friday, but it wasn't quite good enough to dethrone her. Eh, I guess it's okay for her to beat me in one game. Note: Future gamer #2 is on board.

More pics from the later church group game night.
Later in the evening there were two high intensity tourneys going on. I was involved in a 4 player Foosball rubber match that lasted over an hour. A group of 6 or so were involved in a big darts tourney on the other side of the room. It must have been pretty darn intense judging by the pile of about 30 dead darts afterwards.:D
Now I understand why the bag of 100 was so darn cheap...

I'm pretty sure it was a Real Ghostbusters action figure commercial. Almost looks like a Boglin, doesn't it? Never fear, the actual Boglins commercial came on soon after.

where did you get the videos at? I was thinking of doing something like that in my room as well.

Yes we need more info on the commercials, videos and 80s stuff on the TV. did you just download on you tube and make your self or what?

Nice Centipede "wall art"... That's a great idea with the TV and 80's theme - do you have it running off a hidden dvd player? On a side note, I have to look twice to figure out who's posting between you and gozer's avatars, lol. Although Phet looks more natural in that pose than Bob... :D

Yeah, I have a hidden Phillips Divx DVD player. I have a dvd filled with randomized stuff using some organizing program that added random numbers to all the files.

I got all the commercials in one go from a torrent file.
The music vids came from a torrent file and are high quality.

I'm gonna start collecting more via youtube to make more DVD's.

Answers to a few questions.

- Star Wars foosball was a Walmart exclusive for Christmas a few years ago. I picked it up on clearance for $10. It would drive a good player nuts it is so craptastic quality, but that doesn't stop it from being an absolute blast to play.

- wall art, I got those panels from Wade. The centipede had alot of swelling on the bottom third of the side. It cleaned up quite nice with magic eraser for wall art though.
