1xxx-in-1 Help Needed!! ( Can't boot to game screen)

I just got the board today.

Mounted the motherboard and power supply.

Hooked up the jamma wires, VGA connector, and power.

It boots but after a minute I have a blank screen.

here are some pictures and a video. Any ideas?

So to recap, I have:
1. Mounted the board to my cabinet
2. Connected my VGA cable from my monitor to the board
3. Connected the Jamma connector to board
4. Connected the ATX power Supply to the board
5. I then turned on the power for the Jamma
6. Turned on power to ATX Power supply

I saw the windows 200 boot up screen then nothing.

I tried turning on switch 4 to get into setup, but I only get a blank screen.

Here is another video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYkCbml9ir4

Thank you!

even though you didn't buy it from me ,i can help you:) lol

on your remote board press the video button til you get to vga if you have a vga monitor hooked up

I connected the other board, still nothing when I hit the video button a few times to try and cycle through the video inputs. I will post another video in a minute or so.

Thank you so much for helping me with this!

turn dip 1 on also with 4
that should do it
you should hear it talking when you select

Nothing. Still blank screen, hitting the video button does nothing.

And yes both power supplies are plugged (ATX and Jamma)

Again, thank you so much for your help. I am uploading another video explaining what is going on.

OK so I used a different keyboard and got into the ghost program which rewrote the main partition. Booting with dip switch 1 still shows nothing. I did see the windows 2000 chinese stuff again.

Still no go with dip switch 1 or 4 (service). Video switch button did not have an effect either.

Waited 5 minutes for it to boot each time.

I typed a reply to this but now i do not see it.

With a keyboard attached try to get to bios settings. if you can get there see if the screen stays on for 5-10 minutes. if so its not a computer hardware problem.

if you see the windows 2000 stuff when ya 1st turn it on then the screen goes blank....i'd say the hard drive is junk. mine started to do the same thing. bought the new upgraded hard drive and it works perfect.

the link below will be your best friend for these xxxx in 1's

I've had mine pause almost 10 minutes before showing a picture of the game select screen.

have you tried hooking up a vga computer monitor to it yet?

It has been hooked up to a vga monitor the whole time.

I have also tried to get help on the xxxx-in-1 forums.

From the help that Nixs and the boards have given me, it looks like a hard drive issue.

How long are you letting it boot for? Sometimes it takes a while...You could also have a bad HD...

As a sidenote, regardless of the issue, once you get it up and running, buy a decent HD and ghost your current one onto it for backup.

Been in contact with Tim, I am hoping he can resolve this. I did not plan on spending almost 10 hours trying to get this thing to work.

Nixs has been a HUGE help! He will be my go to guy if I can not get this worked out ASAP.
