I picked up a battlezone with a dead 19V2000.

The story is that one half of the monitor had collapsed, so he bought a Zanen get-well kit. He put that in and it smoked when he turned it on. When he pulled the chassis back out, he realized that he had forgotten to glip one of the leads. Unfortunately, he can't remember which one it was, and I don't see any burning on the back of the chassis.

Any recommendations on where to start? I figured I would check the resistors and diodes first, then move on from there. Kind of a lame approach, but I have the schematic, so it shouldn't take long.

Replaced two of the power resistors and one of the diodes, fixed a couple cold solder joints, and it is good to go.

Woots!
