My 19V2000 Is showing random lines on the screen and the LED is blinking on and off on the main Deflection board. You can coin up the game and hear it play so I think this is definitely a monitor failure of some kind. Any ideas on what to check? I have recapped the monitor and reflowed solder on all the points on the PCB last year.

Sometimes, the name of the game helps with issues like this.

I've seen a couple games do this due to a bad +15 regulator on the game PCB. Others have had cold solder joints on the deflection board.

Just because the game is working doesn't mean there isn't a problem with the X/Y output to the monitor, either...

Sorry yeah its on my Battlezone I started working on it again to see if I could Iron out some of the vector issues so far the monitor just took a crap on me. It started by going to half screen to nothing but jumbled lines. I went over the BZ boards for cold solder joints with out success. I noticed that one of the transistors on the monitor chassis was getting warm. The Transistor that connects to location P700 on the Deflection PCB of the monitor was the one getting warm the others where still cold. This was after having the game on for less than a min at a time. I do have a spare Deflection board set for this monitor I will try popping that in tomorrow and see if I get a different result. If the result is the same its a good chance something might have failed on the BZ board set.

No, it's a vector generator problem on the board...

Spot killer's coming on when there's no activity coming from the vector outputs....
