I have several WG v2000 P299 deflection boards for sale. (I have multiple of these, so this will serve as a standing sale thread for current and future boards.)
This is the deflection board used in the Wells Gardner b/w vector monitors found in games like Battlezone, Red Baron, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Lunar Lander, and others. The same board can plug and play into either a 19" upright monitor (19v2000) or a 15" cocktail/cabaret (15v2000) without any modification.
This board is NOT compatible with the Electrohome G05 monitors, also used in the same games, so you'll need to know which one you have. (But if you need a G05-802 board, see
this thread.)
The board shown below is one example, but I give all of them the same treatment so they are all electrically identical, but may have slight cosmetic differences. They get washed, dried, repaired, completely gone though to fix any missing/wrong parts, and recapped with 105-degree, high-hour-rated Nichicon and Panasonic caps. I don't replace the filter caps unless they're missing, as they rarely fail on these. The X and Y linearity pots get replaced, and the brightness and contrast pots get cleaned/treated with DeOxit. They're also modded to remove the R100 and R101 input power resistors, as recommended by the B/W Vector Monitor FAQ. Then they're burn-in tested in my personal Battlezone machine.
Installation of these boards will require you to test the rest of your cabinet first, specifically the XY outputs of your game board, as well as the four frame transistors in the monitor. All that is needed is a DMM. Failure to do these checks may result in damage to the deflection board if the game board and/or frame transistors are not ok, so they MUST be checked before installation. However they are both easy.
Details for both are explained in my
6100 installation guide. Note that while that guide is written for color vector monitors, the procedure for testing the XY voltages and frame transistors is identical for b/w monitors, with the only difference being that 6100's have three pairs of frame transistors while v2000's only have two. However the procedure for testing each pair is identical.
I will warranty each board for 2 years. If you have any issues, you pay to ship it back to me, and I will repair and return ship for free.
$165 each shipped in the US. Or $125 shipped if you want to trade in your non-working but complete P299 board. Int'l shipping extra.
