Quick question:

I have two 19v1001 monitors, one that is 'working' and another that is trashed.

The 'working' one (it has vertical collapse right now) the red part of the flyback came out! Is it supposed to do this? It has 1 wire that looks like it connects to a spool or threaded wire inside the insulator.

I'm looking for my camera to take a picture.

you mean the anode lead that attachs to the actual tube?

if so as far as i know yes it is supposed to be able to come out,the spring inside there just makes sure that it makes good connection when its inserted.
