I am in the middle of (ok not at the moment, but I was in the middle of it last night!) a flyback replacement for a 19K7201.

The flyback knobs are gonna get blocked by the heatsink on this new fly. Same pin config, correct part (from Bob) but different size.

Anyone seen this? If this is known, I can "modify" the heatsink to accommodate the new fly. Just want to make sure I have the correct flyback.

Thanks in advance!

This is for the p757 correct? Just use the plain jain k7000 flyback replacement.
dif housing, small profile, same internal guts..

I think so

I have to go back and look at it and post a pic. I have an original K7000 fly that I can use, but I'd rather use this one if I can make it work.

Thanks!

Actually, it's a P819

That explains why the K7201 fly I have doesn't line up.

Man, I hate when I do stupid stuff like that.

Thanks for the help!

I gotta get me one of them 7203 flybacks!

So, before I order the new fly....

The reason I was ordering a new flyback was because I have neck glow, but no HV. It doesn't crackle up when I power the game on, and there was nothing happening when I dischsrged it. I figured the fly was hosed, but maybe it's something else?

If you got no HV but you got the neck glow, maybe there's something to check before replacing the flyback? Or is that the best route to eliminate it?

It's a 7 year old monitor that has never been worked on. Dude that I got the game from said that it worked fine until he moved it. Who knows if that has anything to do with it.

The monitor is obviously getting power (neck glow) so, maybe there's a something I can check?

Anyone?

Ok. More info here than in your other one:

1) Check to see what your B+ is.

2) I sometimes see monitors that have neck glow and no HV, or HV and no neck glow. Sometimes it is the flyback. Sometimes not. The 6.3vac heater voltage comes from the flyback, so you know at least that much is working. This doesn't have a CRT brightener wired into the flyback by chance, does it?

3) Have you done a full cap kit yet? Gone over all the bad solder areas behind the flyback? Checked the HOT?
