19K4906 is it shot?

That's what I was thinking on the 20v, made no sense to me. I must not have been measuring right. I will video it tomorrow.

The tube on this game has serious burnin so if there is a broke wire somewhere I will be on the hunt for a new tube. I might have found one.

Thanks for telling me that, I assumed that always came with the tube.

it will if you find another tube with a 4900 yoke on it.
you will need to verify that it is the correct yoke for your chassis.

the 19" STD rez 4900 had 2 different yokes and 3 different chassis, they are not all 100% compatible.

if you get a generic tube, you most times it will have a yoke, but rarely will it be compatible with a 4900.

Well I got a new tube and Yoke. The pinout on the Yoke is the same as my neckboard and the screen also has Pacman or ms-Pacman burn in so I'm thinking it's comparable as I have a ms-Pacman. I measured the red blue and get 2.8 ohms and the green yellow and get about 38 ohms. The screen just has a dot in the center and you can see the game playing in the dot.

The ohms reading is the same as my other tube and so is what's on the screen.

Should I assume that this tube has a bad winding too or an I measuring wrong? I'm measuring right at the harness connector.

Thank you!!!

if they are both doing the same thing then your chassis is broken somewhere around the yoke pins.

you may have cracked the traces, broken the chassis or broken all of the pins away from the chassis.

both tubes doing the same thing screams chassis problems.

oh and just because the burn in a tube is the same, does NOT mean anything.
i have PAC burn in 3-4 different tubes that ALL used completely different chassis types

look over your chassis and see what you find.

Thanks a lot Buffett. I guess if there is no way to know whether this new tube and Yoke are compatible I have to take a gamble. It's doing the exact same thing as the other monitor so I'm thinking it probably is compatible or it would have a different issue or just not work at all. If this thinking is right no need to reply but if it's wrong I would appreciate hearing what you think. I would rather keep this new monitor in the game as it looks to be in better shape and less burnin.

days???

how about less than 22 hours ago by my PM message time.

Wasn't trying to make it sound like you don't reply to messages, obviously I'm way off on my time frame. Just wanted to let you know I sent a PM. You always reply to everything and it's greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
