1989 off road

looking at and off road game to buy, the guy wants 99 bucks for it, its made by leeland , not to familar with that company.anybody know what type of power supply this uses and is it a two board set z80 based? doesnt work so i am trying to estimate how hard it will be to fix. http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/vgm/2125327669.html

If you do end up getting this, I've got a basterdized version (was converted to a multi-cab) that should have whatever it needs (I'm keeping the monitor though)

saw that sounds like just the monitors gone bad, maybe easy fix, local guy can help with that if you cant do monitor fixes, I have one if you needed to test board. Great deal for a fun game!!!!!

from what the guy tells me there is no picture but has neck glow, dosnt play blind so i am thinking that the monitor is ok. i might need to test the board or the power supply instead of the monitor, thanks paul

When I had a Super Off Road, my cab had a switcher in it so that's easily replaceable ($30). The boardsets typically show up working on ebay for $50.
If your's had the track pak ROMs, you can buy the original Off road boardset and move just the ROMs and security chip over.
