***SOLD*** 1983 Star Wars Arcade Machine Version ***SOLD***
***SOLD*** I have a 1983 Atari Star Wars arcade machine for sale. It's in excellent condition. The screen is flawless, the speakers are loud (sometimes too loud, for me at least) and the cabinet is in great shape.
It used to live in my office at work however the company was sold and it is now living in my basement. Although it's fun to play, especially when friends are over for drinks etc. The wife says it has to go.
I looked on E-bay and the stand up units seem to be selling for ~$2k+. The one cockpit version is going for $10k. I am looking to get $1500 for this, I can be flexible on pricing but the buyer has to make ALL shipping arrangements if the buyer isn't local. Local being the Washington DC area.
I know this is my first post here, and it will probably be my only post/posts here, I just wanted to sell this thing and figured I'd at least try to find it a good home. Somewhere it will be appreciated.
I am also going to post it on E-Bay and some Star Wars forums.
Please feel free to e-mail me if you're interested at [email protected]. I can send you additional pics, video of the game or answer any other questions that I can. Just remember, I am not an arcade nut and won't know anything about what it looks like inside, boards or any of that stuff.
Year: 1983
Manufacturer: Atari
Name: Star Wars
Class: Coin-Op
Sub-Class: Arcade
Genre: Shooter
Monitor Type: Vector
Color: Color
Orientation: Horizontal
general description
Released right during the peak arcade days, Star Wars still remains a favorite among collectors. You play Luke Skywalker during the attack on the Death Star. There are three different piloting phases of the game: space, battling Tie Fighters, attacking the control towers, and then finally the approach. Use the Force Luke, and you will get extra bonus points.
