I have had these for about 20 years and now will be moving soon so its time for them to go. Is it best to sell individually or as a complete collection? I assume first issues are worth more. Anyone with any knowledge of these and possible values and any advice how to go about selling them would be appreciated.

Over 100 issues. Electronic Games, Vidiot, Videogaming, Video Games and others. Complete sets including first issues.

I'll buy the whole set when you're ready to sell! I collect more modern gaming magazines but have a copy of Namco magazine from the 80s and these would go great with those :)

Whoever buys them should scan them into PDF format and share with the community. A little less than 1/2 of Electronic Games Mag has been found and scanned. I loved that magazine back in the day.

I'd be interested in the set for the International Arcade Museum Library. There are a lot of things we are missing:

Besides that... I'd say... sell them as a set if you can, or at least group issues from the same title together as much as possible. It's a lot less work...

well, there are many ways you can do this. first, i collect these as well, and am looking for some issues of electronic games, 3 issues of blip (by marvel comics), and any issues of video games magazine.

realistically, your best way to sell these, though, i hate to say it, is put them on ebay individually. just the electronic games ones in an auction (non buy it now) style generally get $20-30 each on ebay. two video games (one of them was the pac man man of the year issue) issues were on ebay a week or so ago and i lost the auction but they went for around $35 each. if you sell them like that you could make a small fortune.

but, if you want to offer any up for sale on here in lots or individually, at lower prices, i'd definitely be interested. i'm up to about 20 or so issues of EG, Videogaming illustrated, Atari age, and BLIP, and 7 or 8 how to beat the arcade games books right now.

Speaking of PDFs and stuff, I have an old issue of Namco Generations Magazine about some Japanese exclusives with some interesting stuff on Dig Dug and it has Pac Man, Mappy and some of them on the cover... if anyone is interested in seeing it I'll dig it out and scan it. Not going to sell it but would be fine to share the info if anyone wants it.

Yeah, maybe put them on Ebay.

I have a complete set of Electronic Games and Joystik magazines.
It's always fun reading them. PLUS Joystik was more arcade focus.
Must have. I know that they are on Internet in PDF someplace, I saw them a few year ago.

joystik is on arcarc.xmission.com. i have yet to see a joystik come up on ebay. they're on my list too. i usually search for these a few times a week to see what's been listed.

I bought my set one issue at a time on Ebay.
Paying from $10-40 for the issues I needed.

Thanks for the link.

you know, i wonder if someone like rikitiki or another printer could reprint the joystik's off of there? in a stapled magazine format... i'd pay for that.
