1980s Gamers less likely to go to college

Interesting article but I agree that it has to be a flawed study. Granted I spent time in the arcades as a kid in the 80s, but then again usually I had no more than $3 in quarters on me which usually never lasted long. Once I was in high school I stopped going to the arcades because the games were all fighting type, only the younger kids hung out there, plus I found my special purpose (The Jerk reference) was way more fun.
 
I'm more of a 90s arcade gamer myself, but I don't recall it having any impact on my going to college.

I seem to remember the gaming impact during college for me involved skipping classes with my buddies to go play Starcraft in the computer lab.
 
It may have had an impact on making me take a little longer than the average student to finish college, but I pulled it off.

My parents still think my transcript is as fake as Obama's birth certificate though. :D
