1978 Atari Subs in original box

You don't see something like this everyday.....

The funny thing is you do see this every day. :)

But I think it's just because the same guy keeps listing it constantly on Ebay and CL. I'd love to have it frankly, but $1800 is a lot of money these days.

Oops. I guess I should have said, something I don't see everyday. I didn't realize this is something they've had for sale for awhile.

I'm not sure what the guy who's selling it paid for it. It was available last summer in Everett WA still in the box for $1000. I didn't have the money at the time or it would be in my garage as we speak. - Barry

It sold on ebay (I'm thinking last fall) here in Portland for substantially more than $1000. I want to say it was over $2000.

And I heard that this came from the robertson guy in canada with all the NIB vintage stuff. I heard he had like 6 of these NIB subs that he dumped. He has a great collection of oddball / non-sought-after NIB games from what I hear. (and a few that are desirable like Robotron minis).

That is unreal! It would be really cool to see those in person or picture.

this subs came from a guy near seattle......a collector who was selling off his games. he did have 6 of them at one point but had sold them years prior. i also bought a defender from him. a really cool guy.

Wasn't sure what you paid. I was at his garage checking out all the games for sale. I had limited money so I bought a Mario Bros and my friend bought Karate Champ. There were several good deals with the Subs being one of them. $1400 was still a fair deal IMO. Why have you decided to sell it?????? - Barry

you might think i am strange but the main reason is that the machine is too nice. it is so cool being that it is 32 old....yet brand new. i am kind of freaky about keeping things perfect. this is so perfect that i never want to play it. the idea of opening a game that had been unopened for 32 years fascinated me.......

I saw it, and played it. It is new.

So are you gonna get back into collecting CW? Been buying any other games?

hey brick
i am picking up a cheyenne on monday...thanks ryan! i am selling my super clean defender and am looking for a few others. i also need to unload my stash of old wall games.
