1978 atari space riders has some problems please help!!!

Hi I just picked up an Atari Space Riders pinball machine. When I plug it in most of the lights come on it lets me coin it up and start a game. The led Score works But it doesn't keep score nothing registers. one of the bumpers was stuck so I disconnected it, the celinoid yellow plastic was melted. It doesn't seem to be making game sound. There is just a semi hi pitch hum. Sometimes the flippers and bumpers and poppers work and sometimes they don't at all, switches every time I restart it. I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine, disconnected and reconnected most of the molex connectors. I do not know much about pinball machines so any help would really be appreciated. PLEASE HELP!!!

I just repaired an AUX PCB for a friend and I am going to install it tomorrow afternoon. The High pitch humm is more than likely one of the transistors on the AUX board. If you lift the playfield and look on the left side of the cabinet you will see the AUX board. The 4 silver transistors at the bottom of the board are what light up the various lights. That is more than likely your lighting issue.
You should be able to hear which one is humming or squealing which is a dead give away of which one is bad. The board is also likely burnt pretty bad.
As far as the other problems I would have to do a little research. Once I get this board installed and tested (crossing my fingers) I will know a littl more.

Hope this helps.
