I have a chance to buy a 1971 Williams Jungle Drums electro mechanical gun game from a vendor that has had it since the 70's. It is in very nice condition and worked years ago...have not tested recently. Any thoughts on whether this game is worth owning and what is a fair market value for one? Thanks for your time.

I would love to have one. Really cool safari theme,
climbing monkeys and use of lighted stationary targets.

Condition is everything, of course.
I'd personally only go to $350 but people have
paid $800-1000 for a really nice rifle game.

I've also bought working EM games for $100, so
you should really just play your cards carefully.
Keep in mind these type of games are nice to have,
nice to look at, but don't have tons of replay value.

That does look pretty cool. I am not really into the jungle theme but the cabinet art is extremely basic and should be easy to reproduce if it is bad.

I'd say the $350 mentioned above is a good top end price for me as well.

A guy down here has been trying to sell one for around 250$ for about 2 or 3 years. It's really not a great EM. If it is cheap and you want ot keep it in your collection I would go for it. If you are looking to flip it and hope to make anything I would recommend to pass.

Thanks for the thoughts...I will have to pin the guy down on what he would want. I have not pushed it because I really do not know what I would do with it...not something I have been looking for and agree that there is no flip profit...but it is old, cool, and maybe cheap enough to play with and later pass on without loosing.
