1963 Gottlieb GIGI and 1968 Williams Pit Stop for SALE
I currently have 2 Pinball Machines for sale, "Gigi" and "Pit Stop" in New Jersey.
1963 D. Gottlieb & Company "Gigi" Vintage EM Pinball Machine. This machine, in near perfect working order is currently listed on an Ebay auction, with 8 hours left and a top bid of $699 so far. Complete details about its condition can be found on the listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-D-Gott...486410?hash=item4d457fd18a:g:3pAAAOSwzJ5XW01d
I also have a 1968 Williams "Pit Stop" Vintage EM Pinball Machine in 100% working condition.
- The playfield is in great shape.
- The wood cabinets need some work. Both top box and playfield cabinet have original paint, but names scratched into the wood in several places. The right side of the main cabinet has a horizontal split. I'm not familiar with how these cabinets are constructed, but since the split is very clean, does not look like a crack and is perfectly parallel to the bottom of the cabinet - it looks like it is just a separated joint of two wooden boards.
- The backglass (original) is in great condition with one tiny spot of missing paint and some discoloration in lower left corner (looks like a poor attempt at missing paint repair).
- The chrome in great condition, no rust anywhere.
Frankly, I have no idea what Pit Stop could sell for. This forum is the only place on the internet I have found its value range referenced ($200-$700?), which is why I have just joined. I'm not really a Pinball guy, my dad was the restoration hobbyist with a dozen vintage machines in our basement at one point when I was growing up. I'm just trying to help my mom out by selling off some of this stuff before she moves.
Eventually I plan to list Pit Stop on Ebay too, unless there is a strong interest from someone here. I do not have any pictures taken of it yet, but should within a week or two. I will update this post with more info. Thanks.
UPDATE: Gigi did not sell yet. Has been re-posted on Ebay with a Fixed price of $999.00 and considering "best offers": http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-D-Gott...ball-Machine-Electro-Mechanical-/331891430155
