Picked this up last night just south of Pittsburgh, PA. Although I paid next to nothing it has a lot of sentimental value to the family I purchased it from. I promised when it was restored that I would send them a pics. Not a lot of information out there on this one. However it will be a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration.

It's understood although novelty and that the excitement factor may not be as high as some of the games I currently own. However this is a piece of history/nostalga from 1959 that must be restored as close to the original as possible. I prefer variety in my collection something that makes my family and guests understand where things began. I've saw what the web had to offer regarding flyers, etc.

I want to hear from those who have one or may know of a family member whom had one. I'd be greatful if anyone had pics to share of the original graphics so I can recreate. If anyone has a back glass for sale that you may have in your basement, garage, I'm interested as mine is original but delaminating and too poor to touch up.

Pinnut this may be my first backglass reproduction...

My late fall-winter-early spring restoration projects are now many...Now if I could just find the right price on a Big Ball Bowler, find a Bally Space Flight, and find a Midway Chopper?

Enjoy the pics!

No I've yet to find one. I saw on ebay a gentlemen had two Jokerballs for sale but I missed out on bidding. Still looking for one if you know of any leads please let me know as I'm interested! Worse case scenario I'll reproduce one.

What I was able to obtain was some very good pics of the cabinet artwork so I can recreate it - so all was not lost...

Still working on the house but should finish up by the end of the first week of Nov...this forum is the only thing helping me through as I've not spent any time restoring. Just buying projects for the winter...

Thanks for writing...

Gorfchampion -

Took a look at your arcade...very nice. Sea Wolf and Moon Patrol two of my favorite. Nice midway rifle arcade. Sorry to see your checker board floor was destroyed in the flood. Love that look. I went with gray epoxy recently in my basement. First time I saw red looks great and love the mural.

Will be resto posting this winter as I work through my projects...

Thanks for looking in on my post!

I to picked one of these up a couple years ago and have been trying to find out info on them. Mine plays good but the big problem I have with mine is the credit wheel is missing. The art work appears to be all original. I would love to talk to you about this game and if you are still needing any help. Or if anyone can provide a picture of the credit wheel. One other thing my backglass is white where's yours is blue any idea what the difference is?

I can attach pictures later if someone would like to see them I don't have any t right now sorry.

Thank have a good one
Steven

Are you still looking for credit wheel pics? I have on of these in shed for restore and I can get a pic if needed? I haven't really looked at mine yet but it was complete when I got it....also if you know where I can get new buttons mine is missing a few and also I need to test balls to know what type/weight I need since it was missing ball also???

Yes if you can send credit wheel pictures that would be very much appreciated. My big question is if the credit wheel has a light in it because there is no cut out in the glass to be able to see a "standard" wheel. So that's why I thought it might be something special. I might have to try and make one of I can't find one.

I haven't seen the buttons any where but I'll keep an eye out and as far as the balls I have had good luck with the blue racket balls from Walmart. These might not be "official" but they are good enough for me and I also use them in my Vanguard shooting game and they have a good bounce to them.

I'm looking forward to the pics if there is anything else I can help with just ask.

Thanks

Need Midway Joker Ball Artwork Stencil and Kick Out Button

What I was able to obtain was some very good pics of the cabinet artwork so I can recreate it - so all was not lost...

After a year of searching I finally got my own MJB! My cabinet has been completely over-painted, and so if you can share the pics to recreate the artwork that you speak of, that would be GREAT!

Also, anyone have a source fro replacement ball kick out buttons?

Thanks!
Mike
