Picked this up last night just south of Pittsburgh, PA. Although I paid next to nothing it has a lot of sentimental value to the family I purchased it from. I promised when it was restored that I would send them a pics. Not a lot of information out there on this one. However it will be a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
It's understood although novelty and that the excitement factor may not be as high as some of the games I currently own. However this is a piece of history/nostalga from 1959 that must be restored as close to the original as possible. I prefer variety in my collection something that makes my family and guests understand where things began. I've saw what the web had to offer regarding flyers, etc.
I want to hear from those who have one or may know of a family member whom had one. I'd be greatful if anyone had pics to share of the original graphics so I can recreate. If anyone has a back glass for sale that you may have in your basement, garage, I'm interested as mine is original but delaminating and too poor to touch up.
Pinnut this may be my first backglass reproduction...
My late fall-winter-early spring restoration projects are now many...Now if I could just find the right price on a Big Ball Bowler, find a Bally Space Flight, and find a Midway Chopper?
Enjoy the pics!
