I posted this over at RGP trying to find out some info, here's what I've got:

I picked this up a couple months ago, I've finally got time off for
Christmas to try and get it going. Anyone know anything about this
game? There's isn't a whole lot out there from my searching. Does
anyone own one or have a manual/schematics? Production numbers?

Here's a few pics, I'll try to get more soon. I uploaded them to KLOV
but they are not posted yet. Damn thing is 7ft tall, I shoulda got
pics before I assembled it.

I love vintage stuff like this! What is the basic concept of this, hard to tell?

Did you try to email Clay over at pinrepair?

There's a motor in the top with 6 ships attached. They rotate into view and you try to torpedo them. 20 shots per game I beleive, sink 15 ships for replay. There's a serious lack of info out there for this game. It must have had very low production numbers, probably not many survivors. It's pretty neat, I hope to have it running soon. I emailed Clay, no response.

wow i have never seen anything like this. the side art and colors are remind me of sea raider and sea wolf. is this a projection game or are the targets moving on a chain? how's it work.

It's for sure a WWII inspired game, made in 1946, well before Searaider and Seawolf.I'm sure it was developed while the war was still on. It has a spinning motor with 6 wire brackets attached to little cardboard ships to spin the ships in view of the periscope. There's a white bulb and a red one in the top to illuminate the view. White one is normally on, red comes on when a hit is scored. I'll have to take it apart to get pics of the upper area, it's too tall to get at now assembled.

Notice how someone painted over the sideart on the base of mine :(

If I look just right in the light I can see where the planes were, I can't really make out any part of the sub. If I could see it, maybe I could trace it out and make a stencil. I may have to try that.

yeah that is weird, especially since it's the only art that shows a sub on the cabinet :)
I say try to remove that layer of paint enough to get some frisket on there and make a template.

Oh, wow - what a find! I absolutely love old EM machines like that! Very, very cool. I'd love to see some more pics once you get it working.

How many pieces does it disassemble into. Looks like 3?

Yeah, I suppose that's the way to go, hopefully I can salvage it.

It's 2 pieces, comes apart right under the glass. It's a little freaky putting to together, the top is pretty hefty, and there's only 2 bolts holding it on.

I messed around with it some today, hack job for sure. Wires that I have no clue where they go. They hacked into a leaf switch so that there is a wire coming fron that has nothing attached. It's stupid though, because it's just one wire soldered at 2 points on the switch. Even if I knew what to connect it to the switch would be useless because there is nothing nearby to trigger it. There must be another wire completly missing from it. Assholes shoulda left it alone. Pretty sure I'm fucked as far as finding a manual or schematic. I found a guy on RGP that has one, maybe he can help sort this mess out.
