I have a 1943 and I believe its a dedicated original dynamo cabinet.

Question is it doesn't have a power switch. Is it supposed to?

I don't see any empty holes or anything that looks like it was hacked around a power switch in the wiring.

if there is supposed to be one can someone take a couple pics of where it goes on the cabinet and in the wiring before I just go hack one in there.

mine (original) had one on the top right above the marquee. I will look for a pic.

Doh! I have one same place -- I thought I looked around and the wires that went to the top I though just went to the marquee!

Thanks (good thing I didn't try an add another one!)
