This is my first post, so go easy on me
I have a 1942 in my game room thats a little bit odd.
First and foremost, the cabinet was once a Q-bert (the screen has a little burn in it and the cabinet has been repainted, but the original yellow from Q-bert is showing in a few places where the paint has chipped).
My question is about the marquee which reads "WWII '42" rather than "1942".
All of the marquee pictures that I find online read "1942"
Is this some kind of early marquee, or is this marquee for something else?
I though it might possibly either be some kind of earlier graphic.
There is also a tag on one of the wire harnesses that reads "test sample" which is what prompted that assumption.
Any insight would be appreciated.
