I don't have the make and model of this monitor handy so I thought I would describe the symptons to see if there is a simple, generic solution.
The monitor is from a Guantlet 4 player cabinet. I think it's the original monitor but not sure.
When you first turn it on the picture has a ton of horizontal lines and the picture bounces around. Plus it doesn't fill the screen.
The longer you let it sit and warm up, the better the picture gets. Eventually the picture looks great (unless there is just text on a black background then you get a ghosting line all the way accross the screen from the text). It never does fill the top and bottom of the screen though.
Just curious what it could be wrong to where it get better as it warms up?
