OK, I'm sure this is a dumb question, but why is the 19 in 1 horizonal board so much more money than the 60 in 1 vertical board? The 19 in 1 is usually double the price of the 60 in 1.

Maybe I'm comparing apples to oranges, but it really seems to me that they would be at least reasonably similarly priced. Aren't they both made in China?

Is it just supply and demand?

YEA! What he said.

pretty much. Theyve sold tons more 48/1 - 60/1 boards hence why those are so much more cheaper.

Ive been waiting for years for the cost to come down and so far its not looking like they will ever be as cheap as the 60 in ones

I'm with you guys. They are electronically identical, just different roms. Should be the same price.

not a rom swap,it looks the same but it's not,we have tried it lol
they should be less than a 60 in 1 just my opinion
:)

Yep, I posted a while back about adding games to it. Would love ZK and the like on there. My assumption is that this board doesn't sell like hotcakes. The 60 does. If this were a big seller, it would have had more updates.

zookeeper on it would sell great for sure, even jungle king and elevator action would be nice also and get rid of a couple of them crappy games on it

It's basically the same board, but the cost difference is probably due to the fact that it hasn't been as successful as the others. Way back when the 39-in-1, 48-in-1 etc were first out, they were quite expensive, too. Then copies came out ("B" version) which eventually drove the price down. Also, with the high volume of 60's they make now, manufacturing costs tend to be lower.

When they went with the 19's, they started with an initial run which was more expensive than the 60's. They haven't sold well, so they probably still have stock to dispose of. If it ever became as popular as the 60's, the price would probably go down, too...
