I'm curious how Mario Brothers is in the 19-in-1 multi board. I'd pretty much be buying the board for that single game, so I'm curious how accurate it is. How's latency, etc.

Thanks!
Gary

PS: I tried searching for 19-in-1, but the search really doesn't like strings like that.

That looks grim.

I already have a JROK board for those games. . . do you happen to know if Mario Brothers is mapped sanely in a two player, one stick and three-buttons per player jamma cab?

Getting past the control issues (if you could get past them. . they sound horrible), does it work well? How's the audio and latency?

I have a 19-1 hooked it up to a jamma. control panel had 2 joysticks and 2 buttons per side. seemed to work fine. I was just testing the board and did not have it hooked up very long, Karl(Fullthrottle) was here and played mario for about 30 minutes, I didnt hear any complaints. I have Jrok did not try the williams games, I would not even consider wiring for the williams games. sound seemed good not like some on the 60-1.

I just bought that board for the same reason.Super mario is too bad at all.The only issue I have noticed is that when I hit the jump button it's not as responsive as my original mario was.But it maybe a button issue also.

Mario Bros on the 19 in 1 is actually much more accurate than the Arcadeshop version. As long as you are not trying to use a MultiWillaims CP, it is fine.

how can it be more accurate than AS when you put the MB ROM in yourself?

I just can't stand that horz monitor MW bezel in the game selection screen on the AS.
It's so weird to look at that when I want to play a hor nintendo game. I wish you could take that off.

The ROM is only part of the puzzle. The emulation of the hardware that the ROM is running on can be buggy and/or have massive latencies that keep it from feeling the same as the original.

Not to mention only specific ROMs work with the loader software... its not like MAME where you can choose from different revisions
