I was wondering for you can add 4 joysticks for Robotron so you can play head to head?

Since Robotron is a 2-player alternating game, both players use the same joysticks. You never have both players on the screen at the same time (like in Joust) so 4 joysticks wouldn't do you any good, and the pinout doesn't support 4 joysticks anyway...

Ok thanks for clarifying that for me. So my configuration should be 2-4/8 way joysticks, 12 buttons ( 6 each player), and 1&2 player buttons.

if they made a 20-1 with Smash TV and 4 joystick setup. now that would be interesting.

I have this board, but have only tested it in my existing JAMMA cab, not the project that it'll be going in.

Looking at the game list, I think you're only going to need one button on the player 2 side to act as Jump for Mario Bros and the Flap for Joust. Not sure if Splat has 2 player simultaneous play, but don't think any of the others do.

I also think it was mentioned that it only supports 6 buttons (plus the Start buttons) total or something, so choose your layout carefully. Mine is going to be going into a scratchbuilt Stargate mini, so only Defender and Stargate will be active.
