19 in 1 Horizontal PCB??

I asked Clay about the multi boards the other day...

He said this;

"the old Arcadeshop design is pretty dead in the water. The chinese managed
to clone it and people quit buying the more expensive, legit ones from
Arcadeshop. The problem that created was that we were doing the software
development "for free" and it was being paid for by sales of hardware. (So
basically everyone got software updates for no charge, but we relied on
Arcadeshop selling more boards to be paid for the work.) Once some sellers
made the clones avaiable, we stopped getting paid for our work-- so that
doesn't fly as a business model. ;-)

That having been said, there is a new version of that board that's been out
in a private beta test for a while now. More features, faster, more games,
etc. Not sure when it'll go up for sale, but it's basically done-- just
waiting for Arcadeshop to decide when they want to release it. "

From what I've found, all the versions have the same pinout for 6 buttons. You're suggesting the harness doesn't have the wiring for those extra 2 buttons. So - just buy a fully loaded harness...

Excellent.com has the button info right in the details of each card. If you look at the two versions side by side they are different. The contacts for buttons 5 and 6 on a "B" board don't have any traces going to them where the "A" board does. However the manual that comes with all three cards states there are 6 buttons.

Nice to see that Clay/Steve are working on an updated Arcadeshop board. Hopefully they'll consider their old customers they threw under the bus when they decided to stop supporting the older boards and give us said victims a discount or something.

Ok. So on the "B" board, where are 1 player S5 and S6 buttons wired to on the pcb ?

I am having this exact issue....

Dave

The new "B" versions no longer have that problem.

As for the pinout:
