Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, I cannot get buttons 5 & 6 to work.
I've tried 2 different boards and 2 sets of jamma harnesses and still nothing. I've looked at the menu and didn't see anything to enable them.
Am I missing something?

A buddy that just bought a few of these "reduced price" 19 in 1's and he told me that he could not get the second player controls to work on any two player games. Kinda sucks to have only 1 set of controls work on Joust.....maybe you will figure out a work around?

To get the second player to work you do have to change from 1 control to 2 controls on the menu. Not sure if he did that.
Everything on mine works, both joysticks (all directions) buttons 1-4 but not 5 & 6.
That's on both boards which is why I;m wondering if I have "activate" those buttons somehow.

Anybody out there that has one of these that can chime in??

Yeah, I guess you'll need Hyperspace and Inviso for Stargate! Let us know if you figure this out!

This guy helped me out with mine awhile back...

I'm guessing you didn't get a manual with your PCB? If not, give me your e-mail and I'll send you one. I included the pinout below.

Also, if you haven't yet, read this thread I made about how I used the same control panel with the 19-in-1, and the problems (and solutions) I had.

pin 11 is inviso ,pin 26 is hyperspace ,those 2 are not used in most jamma cabinet ,if you plug in a standard jamma cabinet ,you will need to add those 2 wires .

Yeah I did add pin 11 and 26 and nothing, even tried a different jamma harness to double check and nothing, same problem on both boards. That why I was thinking I may have to turn on a dip switch to activate those 2 bottons or something in the menu, but I'm guessing not.
Has anyone with one of these boards have a button 5 & 6 hooked up and working?

Yep, I was confused as well but have yet to set-up/test anything. But read this great thread that modessitt created: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=66027

If you plan on playing all the games with 2-players in mind, including without swapping panels, the control panel has to be set-up like a Neo Geo; each player gets a joy and 4 buttons. Omit Defender/Startgate and you only need 2 buttons per player, I believe.

I've got 2 joystick and 4 buttons (each side) on my cp:
b1 - fire (pin22)
b2 - Smart Bomb (pin23)
b3 - Hyperspace (pin26)
b4 - Inviso (pin11)
But for some reason hyperspace and inviso are not working on my 2 boards.
Can both boards have the same exact problem ???

Don't see why you should have to but at this point I'll try it.
Thanks. At this point, you're making me a little nervous about this board but I can live without Defender/Stargate (and the extra buttons) if need be. It'd be unfortunate but not the end of the world.

Hopefully, someone will chime in with a successful install.

I just try it in a test cabinet ,# 5 ,#6 buttons both work in my board .
It is 19-1 A board ,maybe the first gen 19-1 B board has problem or only your board ?
I use a jamma test cabinet ,add wires in #11 pin and #26 pin ,joysticks and all 6 buttons work ,I do not know how well it will play Defender ,Stargate but #5,#6 buttons are working for sure in my 19-1 .

Thanks for checking Wu, got these boards from Excellent when they were announcing the sale. Tested them when I got the in but my test rig only has 3 buttons. Would have never thought buttons 5 & 6 were not going to work, how odd. Guess I'll see if they'll take them back. I would advise everyone should check their boards before it's too late...

It is very very similar ,not the same .
Some B boards are made so closed to A ,I got mixed up if I do not put them side by side .
Your board look like it was a 60-1 ,got reprogram to 19-1 ,I am just guessing since 19-1 should have label "BAR" on them " ICD" is for a 60-1 board .

My 19 in 1 board is a Fake

No it's the same size as the old 48/60 in 1
