Actually picture is not perfect. Has barrel distortion issue.
Since the resistance readings on the yoke of the donor tube were close to a G07 I swapped tube and yoke.
G07 = V 54.5, H 2.6
Donor Yoke = V 56, H 2.2
Replaced the 100uf cap at c517 with a 220uf cap per Ken's suggestion. Got a little better, but still has noticeable barrel distortion.
Plan on bumping c517 to 470uf and adding a 100ohm pot at r515 mentioned in this post.
Anybody else done the r515 pot mod before?

Bumped c517 to 470uf. No noticeable change. Moving on to the 100ohm pot at r515.

Putting the monitor back in the cab and considering this done.
Lots of work done to this chassis.
- full cap kit
- new filter cap
- new width coil
- new flyback
- tube swap
- c517 changed to 470uf
- 1 watt 100ohm resistor in place of r515 8.9ohms.
Not perfect but way better than it was before. Unfortunately I have no before pics of the barrel distortion.
Here are a couple pics of the r515 mod. As you can see it's set to something less than 8.9ohms.

I'm glad I found your post, Just finished resurrecting a dead G07.
Full Cap kit
New width coil
New Flyback
New F901
installed two 220uf@50V at C517 & C518
Im noticing now that it has some barrel distortion.
Im going to try now replacing the 1w 8.2ohm resistor with the trimmer pot. Looking at ebay I found two options the one you used 100ohm and a 50ohm.
Since the value that fixed in your case was little less than 8.9ohms so I assume the 50 ohm one will work also?
