First off, I've already read this thread and it doesn't seem to match my 19-1 board.
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=66027

I've got one of the latest batch floating around (paradise/holland computer/etc).
--Have dedicated defender control panel.

Which wire from jamma harness or location on jamma connector handles Hyperspace?
--P1-B5 doesn't do it.
--I'm not able to figure it out so far.

p1-up, up
p1-down, down
p1-b1, Fire
p1-b2, Smart bomb
p1-b3, Thrust
p1-b4, Reverse

Hyperspace??

Thank you.

Figured it out.
I tried the other 19-1 board "Beyond Arcade" which is a bit older, has english writing "BAR" across a long chip. Hyperspace on B5 works fine.

The other board is smaller, lacks the long chip and has japanese writing on it.
The hyperspace for defender does not work.
This is the most current one you see on the sale sites for cheap.

ha ha, i'll be so happy when i find a JROK board or try Clay's new board. ;)

There are 2 versions of the 19-in-1.

The original (referred to as the "A" version) is still being sold for about $150, and has the options for connecting all 6 buttons (the 6th for Inviso on Stargate).

The copy (referred to as the "B" version) is also being sold for about $95, but appears to be just a software copy onto the 60-in-1 board. This version only supports 4 buttons, which means Hyperspace (and Inviso) will not work. Use this board if you love Ghosts n Goblins but don't want to pay for an original PCB...

I have both PCBs.

Which connector from the Jamma allows the 6th button for Inviso?

I only see connectors for buttons 1 through 5 then the last 2 connectors on the jamma harness are ground?

I'd love to know how to get the 6th button working, as it isn't mentioned in the little booklet that came with the game.

Thank you. Now that I look closer in the booklet it indeed says P1-S6 for pin 11. Thanks for helping!
