So what do you guys think this is? With the horizontal hold completely adjusted to one side and this is as good as it gets. It's only at the top.

The TPG is ran on AC so no issue there

I'm having a similar issue. I've tried the 50-60 htz pot, no effect. I even tried 3 different chassis and swapping yokes with varying improvement. It's still there, though not as bad.

Are you doing a TV tube swap?

it is from a Donor tube but it's my test tube on the bench. The yoke is correct. It's not a yoke issue I haven't dove into Much yet. Got a few in and noticed this one as it came in for caps. So that's next . Just listed it bc it's the first time I've ever seen this. The H HOLD makes it move but no improvement

The other side of the link is also open and the bottom horizontal yoke connection looks likely to be soldered to the component lead next to it ok but open to the track.

Heat on this side Must have gotten really bad.
K7000 width coils in particular are a must clean area. I've had them where there were trace breaks and you'd never know until you start desoldering the old stuff out. lol those yoke header pins I would completely take them out and sand those orange pads.

I also remove D18 and go HAM there with solder cleanup and then I reinstall the diode underneath so I know I was in it. if you do this all correctly you won't have horizontal collapse anymore. :giggle:
