Anyone played Sega's 18-Wheeler game? One came up local... I'm considering it but it's big (it's not the huge 50" version though at least).

Can I remove the seat portion by chance?

This is one of those games people either love it or hate it.

Game play gets old quick.

Before you buy this, drop the metal panel and check the steering assembly. Inspect the shaft for the stop plates and make sure they are good. The horn button more than likely is junk (most of them fall apart) and most Ops just install a button on the dash.

just get it for the ps2 and be thankful you're not hauling that crap in your house.

All I can say is that it's huge.
I got the King of Route 66, fun game to me (I'm guessing the gameplay is similar?), but it took three of us and some clever engineering to get it out of the back of the truck. Even the smaller one is 600+ lbs
The seat should separate from the front though, which helps a little.

This one doesn't look to be much bigger than a standard "Cruisin USA" type cab...

One's up semi-local for $300. It's likely a "passer"...

Looks like pretty close to the same cab as mine...
I can't read the dimensions on the 18 wheeler flyer, but the KOR66 dimensions are:
33 5/8"w X 70 1/4"d X 76 3/4" H
approx weight 600 lbs.

I'd say 300 is a good price for it though, in that cosmetic condition, as long as it's working.
Paid $375 for my Route 66 at auction and it's not nearly in as good of shape...

It's a pretty decent driving game, graphics are pretty cool. Medium res...

It's a single player game, so the fun of driving against another person is obviously not there. So once you finish the game, it can get old fast.

If it's really cheap and and working all the way, why not go for it...

Those are Naomi 1 boards too right?
Shoot, there's more than $300 in parts there just between the board and monitor.
It looks to have a DBV as well. *chants* BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT...

C'mon man, buy that big Bertha Bitch and pretend you're a truck driver. You can have your boy Phet over and live out a fantasy.

There was a deluxe version with the 50" projection TV at the bowling alley where i used to work. The stop things for the steering wheel were broken on it. I tried to fix it and had it for a while but broke again. The one in the local mall is like that too. It really F's with the gameplay, which is not all that great IMHO. I believe the deluxe version is a 3 piece cabinet.....maybe only 2. Heavy as hell either way. I had to move it when the tile floor was re-waxed

It's a pretty good game, but I can only speak to the gameplay (I have it for Dreamcast). I've seen the arcade machine, but never tried it. I never played it again after beating it however.

I saw one at a Super Auction.Looked big and clunky. All the little kids running around were jumping all over it throughout the day.One of the kids eventually used it as a sleeping bench. So I guess you could get it if you have guests so they'll have somewhere to sleep, like the mother-in-law.:p

Honestly,I'd pass. The cons of it's size and bulkiness far outweigh any pros you can come up with.

its one of the few working games at our local arcade. i think its fun and have actually been thinking about going back sometime soon to play it some more, and a few games of high speed pac man...
