Using IPDB and researching several of the individual results to take out non-commerical or non-pinball games, etc., I put together a list of all the DMD games in the database as of 5-28-2012. You can view it here:

http://www.tollianweb.com/uc/pinball_DMD.pdf

Title key words:
Commerically (so home games like Iron Man Classic are out)
Produced (so games like Williams Playboy are out)
Pinball Games (so pitch & bat's or other non-pinball games, etc. are out)

List comes up to 173, which reducing games that have multiple versions (i.e., AC/DC), it's probably about 10 games less. If you note any mistakes, please let me know and I'd be glad to correct. Some of the listed games didn't have pictures so I couldn't verify that they are really pins, or that they really use DMDs, so if you know and can help that would be appreciated. I'm speaking of manufacturers like INDER, Peyper, SLEIC, Spinball; if you can help with verification on any of those (or any others), let me know.

My goal is to try them all. I have no reason why other than "it's just something I'd like to do". I realize some of the proto's and other "one of's" may be difficult to get access to, but that's part of the fun.

So, how many have you tried?

Incidentally, if anyone is interested in the list in Excel format so you can edit, search, sort, etc., email me and I'd be glad to send it to you.

will have to look at this at home, but man...only 173? Seems kinda low, but maybe that's nostalgia at work...

I've played 125 of them but the ones I haven't played are dupes of collector's editions, or those weird one offs sans a select few

Cool post!

I've played 29 of the games on the list... Perhaps a few more at shows, but I only counted the ones I definitively remember playing.

No DMD games at home, so they are all at shows or peoples houses... The DMD I spent the most time playing? POTC, because I have an elementary school aged kid and they have it at Chuck E Cheese! I play it for about an hour at every kids party, and I've been to at least 10 parties.

That was fun!

65.

As I was counting, I could almost remember when and where I had played each!

very cool of you to put this together. i counted 45 total. i have a way to go.and a new goal to shoot for.

Only 34 for me... Sorta...

I counted 34, specifically:

5, 6, 11, 14, 17, 23, 24, 29, 38, 42, 50, 54, 55, 67, 71, 72, 74, 78, 82, 87, 92, 106, 114, 115, 142, 145, 146, 147, 154, 155, 156, 157, 162, 168

that I HAVEN'T played.

I can even remember where I played a lot of them. Like Pool Player was at Allentown in 2002 - when Gene had them at his booth. I'd argue that if you played Breakshot, you could also claim this one since they are identical except the cabinet and backglass (even the software still said Breakshot). There are a few in there like that. I played Arron Spelling at Allentown as well, Mike Pacak had rebuilt one from spare parts. He even had the software right so I'm counting it!

Cool - thanks for doing this!

I have played 122 of them.

Wow only 41. Pinball has really suffered here in central Canada since the late 80's. Hard to find any dmds. Have to go and play that theater of Magic I heard of across town. On to 42!
