His current highest offer is $5K. If we could beat that as a group buy, I'm pretty sure he'd sell them to us. Just as an exercise, why don't people post here games that they'd be interested in buying from the collection (and assuming you have money to spend on them), and what you might be willing to pay for them. If we could reach a critical mass of >$5K then we could make him an offer.
Here are the games he has available. Either post here any games you'd be willing to buy and a price you'd be willing to pay. I'll start in a separate post.
Centipede - works 100%. Cabinet is pretty good, someone tried to repaint part of the white color on the cab. Control panel overlay is in good shape but is generic ( green grid ) Monitor is in great shape
Tempest - Used to work 100%. Looks like there is a fidgety connector on the board as it now sometimes looks like the game zooms in. Cabinet is nice, there is a small quarter sized nick on the left side.
Sinistar. Works 100%. Monitor is in great shape. Cabinet bottom is rough.
Star Wars - Works 100%. Monitor was recapped a couple of years ago and I added the awesome LV2000 to the wells garner chassis to prevent the low voltage portion of the monitor from failing. Cabinet is in good shape
Joust - Works 100%. Monitor is in great shape. Cabinet is a little rough
Ms PacMan - works 100%. Cabinet is really rough in my opinion. has no control panel overlay or painted monitor bezzel. I added a 96-in-1 Pacman board to this machine. Plays all versions of Pacman/Ms Pacman/PacMan Plus, etc.
Robotron - Plays 100%. monitor is perfect. Cabinet is ok but is missing all side art. (it's been painted black )
Galaga - Does not play. Game merely screeches when powered on. Cabinet is rough.
Donkey Kong - Just recapped the monitor. Plays 100% cabinet looks great except for the bottom corners. Could use new T-molding. Has new side art.
Space Duel - Cabinet looks great. Plays well except the monitor collapses the screen in the upper right quadrant.
Berzerk - Cabinet is rough but looks OK. Game played great until a few months ago. Not sure what happened to it and I haven't had time to look into it.
Tron cabaret - looks and plays 100%. This is the rare cabaret version.
Toobin' - looks and plays 100%. cabinet is in awesome shape. Waterfall marquee works.
Sega Super Masters Golf - cabinet looks like new. Monitors looked good. Tried to turn it on a couple of months ago and no power. Probably just blown a fuse but I haven't even had time to check it.
Time Pilot - full cabinet art on both sides. Plays 100%. monitor looks good but has the usual burn in in the center. This game has been updated to include a high score save kit. (usually high scores are reset when the game is shut off ) Comes with a Gyruss PCB that can be swapped in.
Mappy cocktail - monitor needs new Vertical and Horizontal pots soldered in. Has new power supply. Rare cocktail version and I think it was a test version from the factory as the control panels look totally different from the production versions. This is definitely from the factory this way, documentation inside the cabinet proves it.
