Hello,

I'm thinking about buying this cart. I don't own a MVS board but an AES home console with MVS converter (called "Super MVS converter II" from the neostore).

Has anyone here tried to run the 150 in 1 cart on a AES through a converter?

I would like to know their experience/opinion.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I've already found out the following through the neo-geo forums and youtube, ebay sellers etc.

100 in 1: works on an AES
108 in 1: works on an AES
111 in 1: works on an AES
120 in 1: works but requires UNIBIOS for MVS mode. You need to "insert coin" before starting a game. Has a different gui (with screenshots) and settings (hide game, etc.)

138 in 1: Does NOT work. It requires the additional Jamma board to be connected on the MVS board. It works different than the other carts as it loads data into the flash ram first. This also causes longer loading times.

150 in 1: Unknown if it works. Shares the same look (yellow cart), menu and starting instructions with the first three carts (100 to 111).

Overall, the 150 cart seems to share the same manufacturer as 100 to 111 carts. 120 and 138 are totally different, menu-wise, looks, way it works.

I have an AES console with the Super Converter II and recently purchased the 150-in-1 Multicart. The main menu came up fine, but when I try loading any of the games, they display completely garbled and blocky. You can hear the sound 'n all, but you can't tell what anything on the screen is because it's displayed so blocky 'n glitchy. Very diappointing since I haven't had this problem with any standard MVS carts on my Super Converter II... figured this one would work aok.
