Hello,
I recently got a 138-in-1 Classic Horizontal Multigame JAMMA PCB (or Classical Game as the manual calls it). When I install it in my Neo Geo (with a Neo to Jamma converter installed) the initial load screen comes up off centered and then jumps around on the screen, never centering, but appearing as though it were a "tiled" image on a computer desktop (ex. top half appears on the bottom with the rest above it). When the menu loads it continues with the exact same jumping display.
I tested the board by plugging it into my Blades of Steel cabinet and it loaded perfectly (but the lack of a joystick kept me from testing it out).
I have had no previous issues with using the Jamma setup in the Neo with my 60-in-1 board or with any other Jamma board. Also, not sure if it would play into this issue, but I have a CGA to VGA converter installed in this cabinet as well.
Any help with this would be much appreciated as I really want to play some Mario Bros, Gauntlet and Vanguard soon.

Yes. I just went back and tried a few more adjustments on the monitor with no luck. One thing I did notice is that one I coin up and start a game I can hear it playing and responding to button presses but the image on the screen is not moving. I think I may e-mail the site I ordered the board from to see if they have heard of any of these issues. I am wondering if the board is having issues with the CGA/VGA converter board. If I could get to the menu and utilize it I could change the setting to a direct VGA output and see if that remedies the issue.

The issue is with your CGA/VGA converter, especially if it is one of these : http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ARCADE-...935?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item3a6ac9a0af

I use one of these and can tell you that there are some adjustments you will need to make to give you the best performance out of any board. Most of the time when you see the issues you are describing it is in the "V Position" adjustment settings. Go into the menu and adjust through the complete range. You should see a small range where the picture is in sync. Ones you get that adusted you can turn to the other three, H size, H position, and V size to get it perfect.

Brian.

You were right on. started messing with the converter board and the screen issue corrected itself. Now the only issue I have is resisting the urge to play all night since I have work in the morning. Thank you again for your help.
