138-in-1 should be called 135-in-1
There are no inputs for Crazy's right arm, hence it does not work- it's not in the software.
Robotron has a similar problem- you have to hold 1P-B button while using the left stick to move the robotron, and there is no input configured for the firing stick, so you can't shoot at anything. On top of that, the configuration of Stargate (Defender2) is slightly different from Defender-
Stargate(Defender2)- 1P stick up and down Defender
1P-A = fire 1P-A= fire
1P-B= thrust 1P-B=thrust
1P-C=smart bomb 1P-C=smart bomb
1P-D=reverse 1P-D=hyperspace
1P-E=inviso 1P-E and 1P-F= reverse
1P-F=hyperspace
-therefore you cannot have the same buttons do the same thing on an upright control panel, and the gameplay is very difficult for whichever game is not configured like the original.
I emailed the vendor, and this is the answer I got:
"Yes,the problem is the software of some games.
I'm sorry, some games still not work perfect.
And you can not programmed the game software on the smart card by yourself.
We will try to work out to get some games working good in near future."
I've seen posts up to 2010 with this issue, so don't hold your breath.
There is nothing at any of the vendor's sites regarding this issue- they sell it to you, and then say '' too bad, so sad, you're stuck with it"
Nice business mantra, and they continue to get away with it.
