Subject says it all... I've had this monitor in my Ms. Pac mini for the longest time, but it's needed a cap kit REALLY bad so I never bothered with adjusting it... made sure it would work, then turn the width coil a little and I was done.
Anywho, did a cap kit on it this morning, looked REALLY good, just off center, so I go to move the picture down a little... moved the VCENT to the left post to move the picture down... POP! Dead monitor...
I was surprised because I've NEVER turned a monitor off when moving those pins, ever... never had a problem with it... then I took a closer look. The guy that had this before me had moved the wires around, HCENT was going to VCENT and viseversa.
So... I've been going through and checking everything... B+ is high. Removed X701 (again), still dead and still high. Checked X01, good. X501, good. T501, good. I'm in the middle of swapping out IC501 right now, but I'm not holding much hope out for it.
Given what happened, what is most likely to have fried?
Fuse is good... both on the monitor and all fuses in the cabinet as well. (just have to mention that, even though the post said there is voltage present, some people don't bother reading and just start with "check the fuses")
