1280 miles later I picked up my first 2010 purchase and a couple from 2009!

Left my house at 3:45 AM on Saturday and arrived in Port Orchard, Washington to pick up my first game purchase of 2010 a non-working Battlezone (open face conversion) for $50! Got it loaded in the truck and caught the 3:10 ferry out of Kingston and made it to my brother's house at 4:00 PM to pick up a Robotron minus the boards and power supply (from KLOVer: nanoryan) and a Omega Race cabaret (really water logged). I purchased both of those in 2009, but stored them at my brother's house until I could make a trip up. Got home last night around 8:30 PM.

The Battlezone is very nice (way better than the one I currently have) with a couple dings in the cab that you can see in the attached pics. It has the step, but is missing the mat. Anyone know where to get it? Very clean machine. The best part, when I got it to my brother's house we unloaded it, reseated the chips and presto, a working Battlezone for $50! I didn't think I would like the open face version, but I love it! It looks bitchin in attract mode.

As for the other games…I am thinking of putting in a JROK board in the Robotron, but have been considering putting Robo guts back in instead. The Omega Race sides are way water logged (about 1 ¼" thick now). I don't want to part out original games so I might try to cut new sides and keep the top piece (with the serial number) and the inside wood pieces. I'm going back and forth on that one.

Did'nt Oz have one of these.

Hey what are you calf collectors doing up here anyways! Did you bring some games with you? Theres 1000's of more games down there then up here.

Hmmm.. I scored an Omega Race before Xmas, a Battlezone on Friday, and just picked up a Tempest tonight. Should I be worried about being stalked? :D

Nice scores.
