Have a 10xx multicade board from back 2007, worked great for years, never any issues, in approx 2009 had to put it in storage, finally got to take it out yesterday; sadly not working. Makes noise, sounds like it is loading, green led on board itself is on, but no image on screen, can't select game, doesn't seem to be recognizing coins being inserted, doesn't seem to play blind. Wondering if anyone has any ideas off the top of your heads, or if you know of any restart button, or even a hard factory reset? Any help would really be appreciated, thanks in advance.

CMOS battery. Plug in a regular computer monitor to the video out from the motherboard and see what its displaying. I'm betting the battery died it's booting to the bios but you can't see it.

Took a week, but I finally got a new CMOS battery. Pulled the old one, looks kinda corroded- definitely suspect it was at least part of the problem; replaced it with the new one... no change, don't have an access to a monitor right now, wondering if with a new battery it would still be going the BIOS or should it now be starting starting normal again? Also thought I remembered reading somewhere once that putting the new battery in backwards would reset to factory defaults? Any ideas?

I'm just bumping to follow this thread to see what you find out.

Thanks, found a good resource for these things from 72Demon, thought you might be interested @ XXXX-in-1.com, not as populated, haven't gotten any responses yet, but I think it might be the place to go for questions on these types of machines

Do you have a dip switch setting still flipped? I know on mine, that if I go in and make adjustments to a game or whatever, if I don't flip that ds back to the right posistion, it will start acting like that.

If your hard drive is sounding that bad, replace it. Did you get it from Paradise Arcades or somewhere else?
