100 Games for $10,000! In Lubbock Texas

Holy shit rlevin, your like the f'n wal-mart of games (stock-wise.) Only with higher prices instead of lower! "Always high prices. Always!" "We're rolling up prices" "Spend Money. Live Poorer" :)

I am going thru a guy name Gilbert and he is buying from a 3rd party so I do not know.

let me know too when you come through.. I'd love to hook up.. It's rare Jamesburns and I get Visitors from any other town..

I am always interested in giant lots like this. I am particularly interested in this because I don't see R-types around Texas often. So, if anyone buys this, I'll buy R-type from you for $110. A 10% profit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I've tempted you.

Don't see a hell of a lot of Ehrgeiz machines out there either, but I haven't been looking too hard so maybe they're plentiful and I didn't notice. As someone said, assuming they're complete and haven't spent the fall submerged in an olympic pool where animals died, seems like a pretty decent deal you got Dale. No classics in there so little interest to many of us, but a nice boost in stock for a retailer.

Heck me and Shatter1 both live in Lubbock and I never saw the add on Craigslist. Not that I can buy that many games but, a few would have been nice. Revlin pm me ur number and we can at least meet and grab some grub here in Radier land.Have a safe trip and enjpy the long ride here to good old West Texas

Call me Monday they will be in our shop

Would you mind if we ask who the Operator was?

(EDIT)

Damnit!!! I gota read the entire thread before I post stupid questions. Nevermind.

Does Gilbert have a raspy voice?

Matt

I'm fascinated by the responses to this thread. Some say it's a pile of shit, and others are excited.

What gives?

there arent many classics in there but theres plenty of fun games. i wouldnt mind having 25 of them or so for $100 each if they were closer and i had more money.

I think it depends on how old of a collector you are and how much stuff you already have. There are a few good games, but too much newer stuff for my interest(I don't think I have ever played 1/3 of them). I would think it would have more interest to younger collectors.

Plus it looks to me like an average super auctions lot. If you go to the auction you might pay 2x but then you don't have to deal with all the junk and you can see what works..

I know a lot of these games do not interest most of you and same with me but selling classics does not pay the bills selling fillers do. And what you guys have to understand it is not what is listed in that list of games on Craigs list but what I see behind those games inthe pictures that was sent to me. There be some classics coming my way

Any working Tron's in that bunch of games you are picking up here in Lubbock? I would like to add one to my collection.

If you have an interest in dropping off one of those Golden Tees or any of the 4 player cabs (Sunset Riders, Captain America, or really any big project cab) as you pass through San Antonio, let me know. PM me with some prices and pics.

As for your question about all the games in Texas, a bunch of arcade-rental/distribution companies are HQed in Dallas. The rest of the big cities have nothing, it's really just Dallas.

It would have been nice if they had ended up at the next SuperAuction. There would have been some great deals to be had for sure. As far as the games being Junk. Classics are great but Jamma type games sell a lot faster and can be bought for a lot cheaper than the classics can. And like Mr.Bill mentioned, us younger folks like Jamma. Some Jamma boards are worth a lot more than dedicated classic boards, a lot more.

It's a good deal. You have to be an idiot to think it's not. It's like saying you bought 700 good NES games, all with popular games for $1 apiece, but have no interest in it because you're an Atari collector. The resale value on those going to be 4x what Dale pays.

With that said, Dale, PM me with a price on the R-Type. I'm in Nashville and I own an arcade here and would like to run it. I came up there and bought a Hyper Sports, Xybots, and Guerrilla War from you last year.
