Hey guys,
I recently got Double Dragon to play on my UNES and am having some issues with it. The boards boot up fine, but as soon as I try to start a game it freezes or scrambles the graphics. The external PSU I am using is rated at 10amps, about 80w, and I just noticed in the manual that this game has a suggested wattage of 250w. That seems like an awfully high requirement for a jamma board, but this is the first time I have tried one of these dual PCB games, so I am not too familiar with their requirements..
I guess it is entirely possible that the boards got damaged in shipping, but I think after seeing that in the manual that the issue may just be lack of required power. I have cleaned all connectors, jamma and ribbons connections between boards, and also made sure they are securely fastened. What do you guys think it could be? Could lower than required power cause this kind of issue?
Thanks
