Trying to figure how to access the Gamebox 400 in 1 add/remove games menu. I tried the buttons on the PCB, I also hooked up pin 15 on the parts side but test won't register. I know there a menu, I owned a earlier Gamebox 108 in 1 and the test button off the jamma harness opened the menu. Also there are like 9 games that are removed when the pcb comes from the factory. There's got to be a way. If anyone has information that will enable me to access the add/remove games menu, and it works on my pcb i'll send $10.00 pp your way. Thanks.

Does it have any dipswitches? Try flipping them one at a time and powering it up each time.

Maybe you'll get lucky and get a menu.

Yeah, i've tried the page first. It mentions R (soder side of 14) as the menu, but on the Gamebox pcb fingerboard R doesn't run anywhere, neither do 14 or 15 on the parts side. There is a little circle but no traces, I guess that means it can't do anything. I had an older Gamebox, and had 0 problems with it, this one had given me some grief. Only thing left to do is somehow activate the game add/remove menu. I have it in a cabinet with only 3 buttons and am going to remove the game that support over 3 buttons. It's mainly going to be a cab for platform games, not a fighter cabinet.

If you flip dip #5, you can us the K1-K4 to change difficulty setting for the various games. perhaps you can add/remove them the same way?

Some of those boards are multi layered with traces that aren't exposed like you'd see on an old linear power supply.

It's possible those pads are connected internally; did you try them to find out for sure?
