1 Off GLASS Marquees and Bezels

Don't forget about all the possibilities for reprinting pinball backglasses.

A Gorgar would be nice.

There's been an ongoing saga on RGP with a guy trying to reprint backglasses using a direct ink method. It gets complicated when you have to apply a light blocking layer and/or the mirroring. I think some Stern - Seawitch backglasses were made and sold.

Rich, love what your doing and as always I have to ask for a Galaga 88 bezel please......Maybe a one off Gyruss marquee would be interesting. Thanks, Jake

I'd like to see an Ice Cold Beer glass reproed
And a Mad Planets bezel Made

Some of these titles will be screened. If I could get my printers to catch up on projects already in the que we could get to them

Most prominent would be ICB

Can you do this on plexiglas as well
Or only glass?

I'm wondering how well it will adhere to the glass...? From what I understand, glass is nearly impossible to get ink to stick to, since it's non-porous...?

If this works, awesome will not come close to describing it. :)

Me too - rescuing one now - found a good playfield and need backglass - plexi or glass is ok - translight is workable as well. Anything would be better than what I have.

He is printing it on a clear adhesive film and applying it to the glass. If done correctly it should be really hard to tell the difference.

Ive done inkjet to glass for some custom projects and it adheres well. It's not the same as screen printing but acceptable when you cant afford to screen a whole run of them.

Gotcha. That makes a lot more sense.

I agree with the Taito marquee suggestion. Certain cabaret and mini games marquees would be nice too like Tempest (seems to flake a lot).
