will start doing some custom 1 off GLASS marquess and bezels
Since its not always possible to do screenprint for alot of these pieces
either because of $$$, interest, or complexity of art
inkjet is really the only viable solution for some pieces.
But I wanted to kick it up a notch and do some custom solvent inkjets on glass.
so theres no need to sandwhich tape, or cut out the centers, etc.
these are drop in repros.
So heres the technicals
Reverse Solvent inkjet printed, silkscreened with a translucent white on the back
(bezels with opaque white) then laminated to the back side of glass.
My first test
SpyHunter marquee from a raw uncleaned, non color corrected scan.
there is absolutly no visible air bubles or adhesive seen
So Ill be going through this scan color corrcting and touching it up the fine details
So besides SpyHunter Ill be looking at alot of other canidates Journey, EDOT backglass and SpyHunter cockpits come to mind.
Any other suggetsions??
