Thanks for checking it out.

If anyone knows where i can find a dedicated WWF Wrestlemania arcade, please Let me know, That will be the final piece of my Midway Fighter Kollection!

Yep Jealous am I..

Very cool thou I would hate to have to move up 3 flights of stairs.

I see your War God's is running a ps3?

I'm kinda glad I'm not very good at MK cause I don't have the cash for all of those arcades.. hell I'm finding it hard to dig up the cash to just piece together a couple of Killer Instinct cabs..

Livin' the dream. It's good to see I'm not the only one lugging these up stairs into a small apartment. That would be my ideal set up. I'm already hoarding 6-1's and boards so I can have most the versions/revisions in each machine.

Beating you to it.....

Count - 11 MK1's (including the one in my cabinet), 7 MK2's (including the one in my cabinet), 9 MK3/UMK3 (including the ones in my cabs), 3 MK4's (including the one in my cab).

I also have 3 more MK2 boards, 2 MK1's, and 3 UMK3's that are waiting for me to unbox from Ebay when I get home from Afghanistan, making the grand total of MK boards...

13 MK1, 10 MK2, 12 MK3/UMK3, 3 MK4

Is there an important enough difference between revisions that makes it worthwhile to run multiple revisions? And why are all those boards stacked up with nothing between them like they were a box full of old cherry master boards at a superauctions.

My only major problem with fighting games in the gameroom is that they are most fun two player, but once you own the machine you also tend to own everyone else who plays it.

Although most competitive games have that problem. I can beat everyone I know at Neo Geo Money Puzzle Exchanger drunk with my primary arm held behind my back.

Because he spent all his money on the boards. He has no money left for boxes, bubble wrap, or shelving. Duh.

And since when do hoarders concern themselves with organization aside from making piles? :D

The revisions of MK are all unique to each other. The Rev 1.1 of MK2 had Player 2 colors for Player 1, no fatalities, and glitches beyond belief. Rev 2.1 added fatalities/friendships/babalities, but they could be abused beyond belief. 3.1 fixed most everything and is the accepted final revision.

I would have to write a novel to really explain all the differences between all the different revs of all the MKs, but yes, there is enough of a difference between them all to want to have them all....in this MK fan's opinion.

Now, about the board storage, they are all secure now. The pictures were taken when they were being temporarily stored until I could build a better storage system. I'm away from home so these pics are just for reference until I get home to take new pics of the way they are now.

Hey! I'm not a hoarder. I'm a 'collector.' Once someone has to come identify my rotting body amongst all my boards....THEN you can call me a hoarder.

I had got completely out of the game hobby (aside from a taken apart mame cabinet) like 6 years ago, sold all my games, boards and parts. Since that date I moved 3 times.

After I got back into games, I looked around my own house and somehow still had a half dozen classic boards, a dozen neo geo carts, a big box of joysticks, buttons and mame encoders, two mailing tubes full of rolled up sideart, an arcadeVGA video card, a whole box full of plug in cards for wells gardner monitors, and a bunch of other crap, when I thought I had sold EVERYTHING 6 years ago.

Back when I had an apartment with a shared basement I used to haul every freebie/$25 cab in the area back to my basement to fix up, resell, trade off, or whatever. I think I had 30 of them down there at one point. So, yeah, I used to hoard a bit.

Wow. That''s awesome. It's cool seeing someone do the same thing. I can't wait to see when it's done. Do you have all of them or duplicates? If you have an extra Challenger send it my way :)

I always enjoy seeing the ki1 and 2 together, and war gods is a bonus.

I'll refrain from mentioning how many midway/williams boards i keep. (i try not to post my dupes in VAPS)
