Those guys have had that machine on ebay for years...

...and it will remain on ebay for years more.

Yea, I figured a lot of people have probably spotted that listing before. I just don't see what possesses people to waste time and money running an auction like that

Awe, I see. I have never had an eBay store before. It still seems ridiculous though.

It's done so people will find the auction, say "whoa! wtf?" then post a link on various interweb message boards. Then 1 in 100 random people on said forums will click the link, look at the seller's other auctions, and buy his crap.

Maybe, but I highly doubt that anyone would buy it for that price. Not even a loony millionaire would consider that price :D

we need to have a stickied thread with this game, dales star wars hotseat, and the star wars chair so we dont see those three in new threads every few months haha!

I meant buy his OTHER crap, in his real auctions/store (as opposed to this sham/advertisement auction). The $1M auction is just to get people "in the door"...

True, true. I guess that would account for it having around 20,000 page views. Makes sense, but still a petty sales tactic.

Yeah no kidding. People post it up every few months like every other expensive game out there.

Hey! It's from The Station Online. I bought my I, Robot from them ages ago.

They wouldn't deliver it since it had a power supply issue, (among other things). It got to the point where they wouldn't answer my calls. I borrowed my friends phone that had a different area code and called to tell them to either deliver it or I'd file a dispute with PayPal. Luckily, it ended well. They packaged it up nicely and delivered when they said it would.
